Creative Challenge from our author...
One of my favourite poems is called The Rev Spooner’s Shopping List – you can hear it on my video page and find out who the Rev Spooner was!
Write your own Rev Spooner School list of the things you need for secondary school.Think of books, sports kit, bags, writing equipment, money, notes, pens etc.
• Each item needs to be made up of two words (e.g. pencil case).
• Swap the sounds/letters at the beginning of each word (e.g. cencil pase)
Some words don’t work well – only choose the best ones – and be imaginative!
