Foxglove Cottage is hidden-away in the heart of beautiful Ilmington village, which is located on the slopes of the North Cotswolds, in a "golden triangle", 10 minutes' drive from Chipping Campden and 15 mins. from both Stratford-upon-Avon and Moreton-in-Marsh. It is therefore the ideal base from which to explore the cultural delights of Shakespeare's Stratford as well as the beautiful scenery of the Cotswold Hills.
Ilmington is an unspoilt Cotswold village, with charming cotswold stone cottages and a 12th century village church. There are two excellent village pubs, including the Warwickshire Dining Pub of the Year, 2010. The nearest town is the delightful little town of Shipston-on-Stour just 3 miles away, with many shops and restaurants.
Our immediate area is very popular with walkers, with the Cotswold Way, the Heart of England Way, the Monarch's Way, the Diamond Way and the Centenary Way all nearby. The area is also very popular for cycling, since the country lanes nearby are very quiet.
