For over 50 years the Memorial Hall has been the centre of village life. A new hall, built in 1975, has been much improved and enlarged to meet changing needs of the villagers. Coven is very proud of the hall and plans are always ongoing for improvement. The hall is a registered charity, run by a committee of volunteers who look after the day to day running of the hall. Only the bar staff, cleaner and caretaker are paid.

So if you have any spare time and would like to join us, please do. We meet at 8.00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month.

We offer a wonderful facility for family celebrations, with crockery, cutlery, linen hire, together with first-rate bar. For the young, we offer a new bouncy castle for party hire. All this with well kept gardens and a large car park too!

We would be very happy to show you around.

Hire Charges

Main Hall £12.50 per hour Monday to Friday and Sunday
£115 Friday Evening
£125 Saturday

John Williams Room £12.50 per hour

Kitchen £20.00 per hire session

Bar £20.00 per hire session. Please ask for bar cost in respect of Sunday Hire

Hire charges for tableware are available from the Lettings Secretary Mrs Lorna Jones (phone number as listed above).
