Between them, Grimentz and Zinal have about 120 km of beautiful and varied piste amongst some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in Europe.

The area is never crowded and there is great skiing for all standards. Together with the tree lined runs of Vercorin and the sunny skiing of St Luc and Chandolin, there is a total of 220 km in the Val d'Anniviers on one lift pass, the vast majority of which is at high altitude above 2000m.

Getting around the valley is easy by car, with free parking available at all the lift stations, and also by shuttle buses, which are free throughout the season.

There are 2 local snowsport schools, the local branch of the ESS (Swiss snowsports school) and an independent school, International New School.

Further afield, there are an abundance of resorts within easy striking distance for a day trip. Crans/Montana and Leukerbad both allow a free day's skiing for Anniviers pass holders.

Within an hour's drive you could be skiing in the Verbier/Quatre Vallées system, an hour and a half opens up a wealth of opportunity including Zermatt and Chamonix.
