In particular, I have provided a lot of information about the commissioning, writing, editing, and publication of my first novel, Kursaal, which may be of interest to others who are interested in writing their own first novel. I got a lot of useful information from other writers when I was putting together my first book, so I thought it was only fair to do the same myself.
