Care workers are selected for their familiarity, skills and potential, and are only registered after Angel Care Support Ltd has received two adequate written professional references, and have been police checked (CRB) and successfully completed an interview.
All care workers under go an induction process to certify they commence tasks correctly and have the comprehension of Angel Care Supports philosophy of care.
All care workers undergo regular training updates. Any training needed is identified through staff assessments and appraisals.
The quality and performance of care workers is monitored through quality assurances, service user reviews and unexpected employee assessments.
All service users’ health and safety and care needs are reviewed annually, any changes that occur are monitored and care package implementation put into place.
Care plans are discussed to incorporate service user/child/ young person’s personal preferences and choices, to ensure quality service outcome. A copy is left in the service user’s home.
All care workers monitor the service user’s condition and report any changes to the management who will then review the changes.
All service users’ personal records are kept securely locked away within the office and will not be accessed by anyone other than management and office members. This is in relation to the Data Protection Act 1989.
Service users/guardians are asked to provide comments on the service they have received at any occasion.
All Angel Care Support Ltd's policies and procedures are reviewed annually and any changes needed will be made.
