David Dixon

Born in Yorkshire, David Dixon now resides in Pembrokeshire. It is from this area of Wales that most of his subject matter is drawn. Originally a watercolourist, he now uses a water based mixed media to create images that serve to express his emotional response to the often sublime and ethereal land and seascapes of the St. Davids peninsular in particular. His works are figurative but form is often secondary to the effects of light and colour. David lives in St. Davids with his wife Freya, a textile artist.
