Will Roberts

Was born in Ruabon, North Wales in 1910 and died in February 2000. In over 70 dedicated years Will has celebrated his community, the people of rural Wales, at home, at work, the tradition and beliefs that link them and their landscape. The most striking feature of his painting is generally the strength and character of his design, and the wonderful earthy palette that he used. His work has been exhibited throughout the UK and has been seen regularly at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions.
