About

This exhibition explores the partition of British India into India and Pakistan in 1947. Partition involved one of the largest migrations in recorded history and the deaths of an estimated one million people.

This exhibition explores Partition through people’s personal memories, living in the UK today.

Young people from Aik Saath Conflict Resolution Group interviewed four Hindus, four Muslims and four Sikhs from Slough. These interviews form the basis of our exhibition.
