Saturday 5th January 2008- HVSC Presentation Night
The HVSC held their annual Presentation
evening in Brynmawr Rugby Club on Saturday 5th January 2008. This
years event proved to be very successful with a large number of
swimmers and their families joining the festivities for the evening.
Once again our chairman Steve Jones was in good form adding some
entertaining comments to the evenings presentations - he also provided
a very entertaining disco dance (Ricky Gervais beware!) which you can
see in the photo presentation below.
The HVSC was honoured by the
attendance of the Swim Wales president Viv Perry accompanied by his
wife Sandra to present the awards to our swimmers, with awards this
year going to : Novice Boy - Jacob Beetham, Novice Girl - Charlie
Tate-Jones, Sports Boy - Nicky
Pepper, Sports Girl - Heidi
Brice, Most Improved Boy - Alex Gregory, Most Improved Girl - Leah Durham.
This year also saw the presentation of a "Long Service Award"
presented to Lee Williams.
