Employee health assessments may fall into 3 categories;
1) Fitness to work (including pre-employment health screening) - where defined standards determine an individual's fitness to work.
2) Health surveillance - to ensure that specific occupational hazards are not causing employee ill-health.
3) Health screening - that may not be a legislative requirement but acts as an early indicator of health issues allowing early intervention which is regarded by employees and employers as a benefit.
We offer a range of statutory and non statutory screening to assist you in meeting your legislative, financial and ethical responsibilities.
We will not impose our systems on you, but will tailor them to meet the specific needs of your organisation. All screening will be undertaken by a nurse with specialist post registration Occupational Health qualifications, and who therefore understands the impact work may have on health and, conversely how the health of an individual may impact on work.
