The college has an unbroken record of near 100% entry to medicine and law since 1984, for all students who have a conditional offer of a place.

Particularly emphasis will be given to students aiming to achieve the award at least "AAB" in three A-Levels in order to secure a subsidised place at one of the top universities in the UK.

Exeter Tutorial College is a spacious, medium sized college well situated in the city, specialising in university entrance.

Tuition is given in small groups of about five students on average, or individually. Tutors are all well qualified, experienced specialists, and skilled in communicating with students. There is a library, study room, student common room, computer room, twelve tutorial rooms and three excellent laboratories. High academic standards are set within a friendly and effective teaching atmosphere.

The College provides advice and support to all students applying to university through UCAS. Guidance is given, when required, in making initial choices and continues through until their university place is secured.

High priority is given to assessment, exam practice and progress reports are regularly sent to parents. The College is a centre for all examination boards and registered with DFE.
