A & M Smith Skip Hire Limited was formed in May 1994 to provide a local skip hire service in the South

Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City Area.

The Company expanded its services in 2001 with the purchase of a Rolonoff vehicle and containers to

service the needs of local building contractors as well as commercial and industrial waste producers.

During this period the Company increased its inert waste recycling operations to produce a certified Type

 2 R aggregate It also increased its sorting and recycling of Non Hazardous Household; Commercial and

Industrial wastes with the acquisition of improved mechanical equipment to maximise its diversion of

wastes from landfill in line with the Landfill Directive.

Through the development of its recycling operations including procurement of sustainable markets and

outlets the company has grown its business to provide a number of services.
