Fabric Care Assessment


This testing ensures that there are no adverse effects on the fabric resulting from the use of a particular product and could include various assessment of the following:

  • Colour Care
  • Incrustation
  • Pilling
  • Softness (handle)
  • Specialist properties such as antistatic and antibacterial performance
  • Strength (including tear)
  • Wear and Tear
  • Wettability

Garment Care / Product Use

We are also able to advise on garment care and laundry product dosing in terms of establishing recommended best-use conditions.

BS EN ISO 6330:2001

Testing is available to this standard which specifies domestic washing and drying procedures for textile testing including fabrics, garments or other textile articles.
