Applications
The MK2/2 Winder, a development of our MK II Winder, meets the need for sampling under closed/restricted conditions, and where sample sizes of up to 1-litre are required. It will accommodate samplers with an overall diameter of up to 45 mm.

It is designed to fit directly onto a 2-inch (50 mm) vapour control valve, of either the MMC-type or the TankSystems type, which uses a coupling to DIN 28450 Standard.

The sampler itself is enclosed within the winder’s main tube, so vapour and/or gas present above the cargo can escape only through the small gap in the top valve, through which the cable passes.

The winder now incorporates our newest winding handle, which locks the reel automatically as soon as the operator releases the winding knob.

The winder can be supplied with our special hook with a “bayonet” feature, enabling rapid changeover of samplers, and guaranteeing electrical continuity throughout the system, to ensure maximum safety.

A complete range of sampling equipment, capable of passing through 2-inch vapour control valves, is available for use with this winder, offering you representative samples under safe conditions.
