COLIN SACH
BSc, FCA, CF
Colin qualified as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1980, specialising in tax. Since 1983 he has focused on structured finance in the transport sector, advising airlines on fleet finance strategy and creating financial solutions. He lectures at the Manchester Business School.
RICHARD DAVIES
Richard joined Sach & Co in March 2004 following his retirement from Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi where he held the position of Head of Aviation. Richard began his involvement in aircraft finance in the mid 1980s with First Interstate Bank of California in London, and later moved to the sales finance department of British Aerospace Civil Aircraft Division. In 1989, he joined Bank of Tokyo in order to spearhead the bank's aircraft finance activities in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
During his 18 years experience in aircraft finance, Richard has managed and arranged transactions involving a wide range of structures, including capital markets, export credit agency and manufacturer supported finance, commercial debt, and all types of leasing.
Richard began his involvement in aviation when a student pilot at Bristol University Air Squadron.
DAVID DAWS
David qualified as a solicitor and specialised in tax. He advised on taxation and structuring of transactions and has documented both UK and multi-jurisdictional debt on lease transactions.
ROBIN NUNLEY
Robin has a long career in business development. Much of his experience has been in Germany, Eastern Europe and East Asia. He is also a visiting lecturer at Manchester Business School.
