Ormal also undertakes mechanical engineering services for clients, in its well equipped mechanical workshop. We are flexible in our approach to the work that we undertake; jobs can vary from minor modifications to an existing item through to the design and small batch manufacture of assemblies for an OEM. Our clients sometimes provide us with fully detailed engineering drawings that illustrate precisely what they require, at other times all we get is a rough sketch of what is wanted and we do the design and produce the detailed drawings. We also have experience of designing and building “one off” items of production equipment; some of these were developed in response to a requirement in our own factory.
