Etch12.jpg (9982 bytes) Doriee Acosta Giraldo was born in Medellin, Columbia, South America. She studied at the Institute of Art Plastics, University of Antioquia, Columbia. Her studies included painting, drawing, ceramics, etching, aguatinta, point drawing, lithography, cinography and xylograph

Later In England she studied silk painting at the City Lit, London and John Cass School of Art, London. At Lambeth Adult Education College, London she studied photography.

Doriee taught children at several schools in London and worked with English and European artists. She designed the front cover for "LACCS" magazine and produced art to promote music. Doriee now lives in Columbia and teaches at the Museum of Antioguia, Medellin. Doriee welcomes opportunities to promote her art.
