Mr Yan Senior arrived in this land of opportunity in 1966, just in time to see England win the World Cup. When he first arrived, he started off as a kitchen assistant washing dishes, slowly working his way up to become a Master Chef. Our family has over 40 years of experience in the food industry, with businesses in Takeaways and Restaurants, so we understand their needs very well. We decided to move into food manufacturing as we saw a demand for quality products at affordable prices that would make life easier for catering organisations.

Our Company Logo represents our ancestral home of Tai Shan in China, which translates as Tai Mountain. It was chosen to represent our desire to rediscover traditional authentic cuisine.

Mount Tai Foods started out as a family run business back in 1993. The company specialises in manufacturing Oriental foods using the finest ingredients and following recipes from the hometown of where the family originates.

The pre-packed roast ducks and other speciality products are popular with catering organizations nationwide.
