Harbury Folk Club Choir
records a song for the Loft Theatre
The Folk Club Choir recorded the Padstow May Song which featured in the Loft
Theatre's production of 'Jerusalem' from February 29th to March 10th.
The Choir performed on stage before the play started on the first and last
nights of the run.

Carol Singing in Harbury
Pubs
Around 20 members of the Folk
Club and Hereburgh Morris went carol singing in the pubs of Harbury on
the evening of Thursday, December 22nd 2011, raising money for the
Leamington Christian Mission. We raised £70 for our charity before retiring
to our own Soup Kitchen.

Harbury Folk Club Choir
at Warwick Folk Festival, 2011
The Choir sang three songs at Warwick Folk Festival on Sunday, July 31st, in
an 'Open Mic' spot on the Plaza Stage.
We sang 'After the Goldrush', 'Weeping' and 'Unison in Harmony'.

on May Day, 2011
The Choir sang two songs in Harbury Church on May 1st, taking
part in a special 'Thanksgiving for Spring' service, starting at 4pm.
We sang 'Linden Lea' and 'Now is the month of Maying'.
Harbury Folk Club Choir's
charitable donations
The Choir has recently
made further donations to Harbury Church and Leamington Christian Mission from the
proceeds of their 2009 Christmas Concert and their second CD, 'Shades of
White'. At the Folk Club, on March 3rd 2011, William Jones accepted a
cheque for £170 on behalf of the Church.
To date, we have donated over
£1,700 to these charities from the proceeds of two concerts and two
CDs.

Summer Joy and Jim Webb emigrated to Vancouver Island in March 2010.

Harbury Folk Club Choir
at Christmas Eve Carol Service
For the 24th
consecutive year,
the Choir sang two carols as part
of the 2010 Christmas Eve Carol Service in Harbury Church. This year we
sang 'Hark, Hark, What News?' and 'Rolling Downward' inspired by the singing
of Kate Rusby and John Kirkpatrick respectively. You can listen to a

Carol Singing around the Harbury pubs
Members of Harbury Folk Club went carol singing around Harbury's five pubs
on December 21st 2010 and raised £70 for Myton Hospice.
Harbury Folk Club Choir's new CD
The Choir
has released its second Christmas CD, 'Shades of White', with all proceeds
going to charity.

Harbury Folk Club on the Beeb!
The Folk Club session on December 2nd, 2010, was recorded by Keith Wedgebury
for BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Radio. The show was first broadcast on
"Wedge's Warwickshire" on Sunday, December 12th and featured songs by
several artists, including three by the Harbury Folk Club Choir.
