TUSCANY REGIONAL FOOD AND WINE EVENING  

STARTER 

Finocchiona served with panzanella (bread salad)

Accompanied by a glass of Vernaccia di San Gimignano

 

MAIN COURSE

Pappardelle con ragoût d’anatra (duck ragoût)

or

Pappardelle ai funghi porcini (vegetarian)

Accompanied by a glass of Rosso Toscano Casaglia

 

CHEESE PLATE  

(served with fichi caramellati – caramelised figs)

Castagnolo, capretta, pecorino Toscano, pecorino al tartufo

Accompanied by a glass of Rosso Toscano Ciliegiolo Giove

 

 

DESSERT 

Schiacciata all’uva (sweet focaccia)

Accompanied by a glass of Vin Santo served with cantuccini
