Why not celebrate Christmas with family, friends or colleagues at Hitchcock’s?

We can cater for parties of up to 40 people seated, but will, of course, be open for lunch or dinner reservations as usual.  

Private evening bookings on Tuesdays or Wednesdays are available upon request for groups of 8 or more.

STARTERS

Beetroot soup (non-vegetarian)

Salted belly of pork, foie gras and prune terrine with spiced apple chutney and sourdough bread

 Lobster mayonnaise salad with cucumber, spring onion, tomato and basil

 Poached pears in red wine, wilted radicchio, gorgonzola dolce, rocket and toasted walnut salad

 

MAINS

Roast Gressingham duck breast served with potato rösti, braised savoy cabbage with bacon and chestnuts and homemade plum sauce

Fish stew of monkfish, prawns, mullet and mussels served with rouille crouton

Crespelle (homemade delicate pancakes) stuffed with ricotta, wild mushroom and truffled fontina bechamel

 

DESSERTS  

Homemade individual christmas pudding with brandy butter

Apple tarte tatin with crème anglaise  

Coffee bavarois with chocolate sauce  

Homemade mince pies and coffee

        

Two-courses cost £20

Three courses £26

Four courses (including cheese plate) £33

A 10% service charge is applicable to groups of 10 people or more.
