Paws foundation is a not for profit Organisation based in the London Borough of Brent which is pursuing Corporate trust structure in the immediate future. It is an umbrella organisation run by a committee of local professionals managing three national league clubs which are consistently ranked in the top eight. Paws acts as the interface between its clubs and the sports governing body.

Paws objectives are to develop basketball as a participatory activity for the Brent Community. Paws Foundation currently supports three Basketball teams in the National League; Senior Men, Senior Women and junior boys.

Paws aims to provide a structure for young people to have access to mentors recruited by the organisation and to use basket ball as a medium for self development; particular focus on disadvantaged ethnic minorities

Paws programmes are geared to develop and sustain life skills and increase employment employment opportunities by providing access to all facets of the sport, including management/administration, coaching and officiating.

Paws has long realised that sports can be a potent tool in generating local solutions through sports initiatives.
