Innovative ePumpControl Digital Pump Display & Control Screen:

Another first for E-1 is our ePumpControl electronic Pump Pressure Control / digital pump panel display screen (offered as a cost option)

The system can be installed on any pump and chassis cab configuration (interfacing with the E-1 CANbus Controller), and replaces any existing water pump or CAFS controls, simplifying the system operation.

As standard, it allows the pump operator to specify an output pressure - which the system regulates. Branch pressure is automatically maintained, negating the risk to the firefighter of unexpected pressure fluctuations.

The system is self-diagnosing and provides significant (customisable) additional data, vehicle diagnostics, and pump usage data logging – assisting in appliance maintenance, reducing life-costs, and improving system reliability. In the event of any component failure, the system switches to Manual Control Mode – wherein the pump is controlled in the “traditional” rpm style.

Reduced exposure to noise: In Pressure Control Mode, use of ePumpControl means that the pump operator can move away from the pump position immediately, only returning when further actions are required (e.g. tank filling etc). Correct use of ePumpControl means that the operator’s exposure to noise with not exceed the Lower Exposure Action Value (LEAV).
