Slightly carried away with removing the original pedalbox before fitting the floor mounted one, I have decided to renew all the ali on footwell top along with scuttle bulkhead. The wiring and pipes are just left hanging free at the moment.
The bulkhead will be one piece with the wiring loom relocated under chassis top, this will allow the scuttle/screen/instruments to be removed as a whole, when I have added a multi plug to wiring.
I will make up a removeable section above pedals for easy access to brake bias bar, this will be approximately as the hole is now.
The floor pedals have been trial fitted and removed until painting is done.
The side panel has the rivets from the top removed and it's swung out to allow me to get in to weld the new bracings.
The large hole in side panel is the result of the new exhaust manifold being further forward, I will either make a cover around it or replace the whole side panel. Trouble is, the ali has aged and is duller than new ali.
