The BT RedCARE service continuously monitors
an ordinary BT telephone line that links a professionally
installed alarm system in your premises to the Custodian
Receiving Centre. If the alarm is activated or the telephone
line is cut, signals are transmitted within seconds
through the BT RedCARE network to alert Custodian, which
then takes the appropriate action.
BT RedCARE helps to cut down false alarms by carrying
out multiple checks to distinguish between temporary
interferance faults and genuine breaks in communication.
