Welcome to Baker Engineering Company

Baker Engineering is a highly specialised electro plating and metal finishing company. This service is supplied to a diverse group of customers, whose products include or are used in aeroengines, defence, food, medical equipment, north sea oil platforms, vintage vehicle restoration, and white goods.

The company was established in 1968 and has expanded on its reputation for quality, service and reliability.

The Factory which is owned by the company, occupies 700 sq.m. of an industrial estate in the North Watford area, close to the M25 & M1 Motorways.

Eleven people of both sexes are employed by the company, the average age is 40 with the average length of service greater than twelve years.

The company has been committed to quality and reliability since it was founded. The approval in 1990 to BS 5750 part 2 (now BS EN ISO 9001:2000) and our CAA approval since 1982, proves that the application of quality management meets the demands of our customers.

   

We operate fast turnround times with regular collection and deliveries to greater London and all areas of the South East.

Customers with smaller volumes are catered for by insured carrier. For example, a daily turnaround of parts in camera chrome to a leading medical instrument manufacturer in the West Country.
