MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) MiDAS is the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme, organised by the Community Transport Association U.K. (CTA), which promotes a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers. It is a membership based scheme that has been designed to enhance minibus driving standards and promote the safer operation of minibuses. |

MiDAS Car & MPV An extension of the highly successful, nationally recognised, Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme. Organised by the Community Transport Association, it is designed to enhance driving standards in small passenger carrying vehicles and cars. It is also intended to assist the operators of smaller vehicles in meeting their health and safety obligations |

PATS (Passenger Assistant Training Scheme) A course designed for anyone who has care or supervision of passengers travelling by road - in cars, taxis, minicabs or large buses and is relevant to volunteers as well as paid staff. The course covers legal, practical and safety issues and aims to improve passenger safety by providing the skills and information for passenger assistants to understand and meet the needs of their passengers. |
